Report: Baltic power grids expect disconnect from Russia in 2025
MOSCOW, Dec 8 (PRIME) -- The Baltic countries will switch off their power systems fully from the Russian grids by 2025, Reuters reported on Wednesday quoting Lithuanian Energy Minister Dainius Kreivys.
Kreivys said that Lithuania successfully tested connection of its power grids to the European power grid network on December 4.
Reuters reported quoting Kreivys that the Baltic power grids showed that they can work with the continental part of Europe if problems with Russia emerge, and will be totally independent from Russia by 2025.
